The physical office location will be Mt Airy, MD. There are offices in Eldersburg, Towson, Mt. Airy, Severna Park, and Columbia, MD
Responsible for day-to-day operations, directing and performing various clinical and management functions for the practice network to maintain optimal operational, clinical, financial, and business standards. Manages the business and clinical operations associated with Carroll & Columbia Counseling Centers and supports the needs of an expanding practice.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
Compensation:
- Salary model
- Employee can earn $100,000 - 105,000 annually.
Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted LPC, LCSW - C, or LMFT licensed in Maryland.
- Maryland-approved supervisor
- One year of operational leadership experience
- Two-year experience as a therapist
- Strong relationship skills

Job Duties/Daily Tasks
- 10- 12 Clinical billable Hours Per Week
- Duties include daily oversight of the clinical functions of Carroll and Columbia Counseling Centers
- Working directly with Refresh Mental Health and Optum Behavioral Care to implement and adhere to policy changes across all areas of the practice.
- Participation in Refresh Mental Health and Optum Behavioral Care leadership meetings, committees, and forums when requested.
- Liaison to all Refresh Mental Health and Optum Behavioral Care departments as a point of contact for information, documents, reports, and data as requested.
- Maryland state-approved supervisor provides clinical supervision to pre-licensed therapists in the practice as needed, reviews treatment plans and clinical notes, and is available daily for consultation for licensed and pre-licensed clinicians.
- Assessing clinical needs within the practice and working with the Refresh Mental Health recruitment team to submit new hire requests, review applicants, conduct employment interviews, review offer letters, and develop employment contracts.
- Clinical training and onboarding of new clinical team members to Carroll & Columbia Counseling Center and providing orientation.
- Working with the Administrators, Manager, and Executive Director to review and determine needs-based decisions for the practice.
- Review practice systems and growth to determine center goals, income collected and billed, and identify access to care issues affecting patients and the practice.
- Meet with patients and families to address concerns or issues when requested.
- Addressing any concerns with clinical staff regarding patient care, practice systems issues, or contractual matters.
- Conduct monthly meetings with "All Staff" and the clinical team to discuss upcoming policy changes, practice updates, and staff concerns.
- Work in collaboration with the Executive Director and Regional Director of Operations to achieve goals for Optum Behavioral Care and implement requests as needed.
