Dragon Age: Inquisition is a huge game! It's the biggest Dragon Age entry yet and with that comes lots of collectibles scattered across the maps. Astrariums are one such collectible type — the lore explains that they are relics of a time when Tevinter controlled the lands now owned in the modern age by Ferelden and Orlais.

Dragon Age: Dalish Elves Vs. City Elves

The culture and everyday lives of Elves in Dragon Age vary greatly based on their location. What are the differences between Dalish and City Elves?

You'll need to find three on each map and solve their puzzles before you'll get access to a special cave containing rare loot. To complete an Astrarium, all you need to do is connect all the stars of a constellation without drawing the same line twice. It can be much tougher than it sounds. Here, you'll find locations and solutions for every Astrarium in the game.

Updated on April 18, 2023 by Quinton O'Connor: The Astrariums continue to befuddle players new to Dragon Age: Inquisition all these years after launch. With Dreadwolf on the way, more folks are puzzled than ever, so it's the least we can do to polish our guide up a bit and send it back out into the wild.

Hinterlands

Dragon Age Inquisition: All Astrarium Locations And Solutions (2)

Peraquialus - Dead Ram Grove

Dragon Age Inquisition: All Astrarium Locations And Solutions (3)

This Astrarium is found in the optimistically named "Dead Ram Grove." It's quite easy to find since it's near the Redcliffe Farms Camp in the far northwest.

The Peraquialus constellation is also referred to as the "Voyager." It's thought to be the ship that carried the ancient Tevinters (called Neromenians) from overseas to Thedas.

Judex - The Outskirts

Dragon Age Inquisition: All Astrarium Locations And Solutions (4)

The Judex Astrarium is found quite close to the first region you are able to explore in the Hinterlands — just head east! It's close to the cave you'll need to explore for the quest "Measuring the Veil."

The constellation itself is also referred to as "The Sword of Mercy" — the word "Judex" meant "Justice" for ancient Tevinters, and a sword pointing down was a common symbol for someone who had been found guilty.

Draconis - Hafter's Woods

Dragon Age Inquisition: All Astrarium Locations And Solutions (5)

The Draconis Astrarium is found in the midwest of the Hinterlands, just across the river that cuts through the landscape.

This Astrarium is also called "High Dragon" and is also Tevinter in origin. Tevinters worshipped Dragons as Gods, so it's unusual that this constellation is just associated with dragons in general and not a particular God.

Storm Coast

Dragon Age Inquisition: All Astrarium Locations And Solutions (7)

Servani - Great Cave

Dragon Age Inquisition: All Astrarium Locations And Solutions (8)

One Astarium is found in the mountains, overlooking the Cape on the Storm Coast.

The Servani constellation represents Tevinter slavery, a practice that's outlawed or at least frowned upon in most other nations. It used to be associated with one of the "Old Gods" of the Tevinter.

Fervenial - Apostate's Landing

Dragon Age Inquisition: All Astrarium Locations And Solutions (9)

The most obvious Astrarium location in the Storm Coast is on the Cape, where there's a rift to close on the northern side.

There are differing opinions about the origins of the Fervenial constellation. While some argue that it's from Tevinter, others believe that it originated among the elves as a depiction of Andruil, their Goddess of the Hunt.

Bellitanus - Morrin's Outlook

Dragon Age Inquisition: All Astrarium Locations And Solutions (10)

The last Astrarium here is a little further south (though not far). It's almost directly south of the Bandit's Outpost in the northeast.

This constellation depicts a beautiful woman, and it's fashionable for women in influential or prominent positions to be associated with it. However, it probably originally depicted an Old God of the Tevinter, Urthemiel.

Western Approach

Fenrir - Prison Ruins

Dragon Age Inquisition: All Astrarium Locations And Solutions (13)

You'll need to get inside the Coracavus Ruins to reach this Astrarium in the far north of the Western Approach.

This is a Tevinter constellation — but a bewildering one. That's because wolves weren't of any consequence in ancient Tevinter. For many, it's proof that Tevinter took over and renamed elven constellations. These people usually associate this constellation with the elven Trickster God, Fen'Harel.

Toth - Griffon Wing Keep

Dragon Age Inquisition: All Astrarium Locations And Solutions (14)

You'll be familiar with Griffon Wing Keep by the time you've worked your way through the game's main storyline. This Astrarium is found inside.

Toth was an Old Tevinter God of Fire. The man aflame, depicted in this constellation, is thought to be one of his victims.

Satinalis - Echoback Fort

Dragon Age Inquisition: All Astrarium Locations And Solutions (15)

The Satinalis Astrarium is in the winding paths that cut through the mountains of the Western Approach.

The constellation is associated with (and named after) the moon (known as "Satina") and the holiday ("Satinalia"). It depicts the "Celebrant" (a seated person who is performing with a lyre).

Eluvia - Nettle Pass

Dragon Age Inquisition: All Astrarium Locations And Solutions (18)

The Eluvia Astrarium in the far south is found just north of where you talk to Fairbanks during the quest "Fairbanks' Trust."

Eluvia is, according to folklore, a young woman who was being pursued by a lustful and dangerous mage. To save her, Eluvia's father sent her into the sky. The mage killed the father in his anger, and so the constellation is also known by the name "Sacrifice."

Equinor - Harrow

Dragon Age Inquisition: All Astrarium Locations And Solutions (19)

If you continue southwest past the Château Courtyard, where you'll go for the "Deluded Chevalier" quest, you can find this Astrarium.

The Equinor is another constellation where a debate takes place about its origins: Tevinter or Elven. Ancient Tevinters had a strong connection with horses, but so did the elves with their Halla (a white, horned, horse-like creature).

Solium - Direstone

Dragon Age Inquisition: All Astrarium Locations And Solutions (20)

This final Astrarium is found almost in the centre of the Emerald Graves map. Look for the camp that's right next to the river and head directly south from there.

Some people suggest that Solium once represented Elgar'nan, the co-head of the pantheon of elven gods, who was born of the sun. Others argue that it originated with the ancient Tevinters since they were fascinated by the sun and the moon. Either or neither of these explanations could be true.

Crestwood

Kios - Glenmorgan Mine

Dragon Age Inquisition: All Astrarium Locations And Solutions (23)

There's a cave in the east of Crestwood with a Wyvern to fight inside (for the quest "Wyrm Hole"). Just outside the entrance is where you'll find this Astrarium.

Known under the common name of "Chaos," scholars speculate that this constellation represents Zazikel, an Old Tevinter God.

Silentir - Forester Homestead

Dragon Age Inquisition: All Astrarium Locations And Solutions (24)

This Astrarium is directly south of the Kios Astrarium, in the plains of Crestwood.

The constellation is known to depict Duman, the Old Tevinter God of Silence, but there is an argument about what exactly it looks like. A man with a horn and a wand? A dragon? Perhaps it's not Tevinter in origin at all, and actually depicts Mythal, an elven goddess who co-headed their pantheon? It's unclear.

Tenebrium - East Hills/The Flats

Dragon Age Inquisition: All Astrarium Locations And Solutions (25)

The last Astrarium in this region is found on the Cape, directly west of Crestwood Village.

This constellation is another that's thought to have originated among elves, and then was renamed and supplanted by Tevinter. That's because it supposedly represents Lusacan, an Old God associated with darkness, but the Old Gods were usually represented by dragons, not owls.

Frostback Basin

Dragon Age Inquisition: All Astrarium Locations And Solutions (26)

Visus - Western Riverbank

Dragon Age Inquisition: All Astrarium Locations And Solutions (27)

If you're struggling to find the Visus Astrarium, keep in mind that it's the farthest south Astrarium on the map and is quite close to where you'll hang herbs for the "Beasts at Bay" quest.

The Visus' meaning has changed over the years. Originally, for the Alamarri and Cirianne tribes (ancient humans who lived in southern Thedas) it represented the "Lady of the Skies" watchful eye, which led them to safety in their harsh environment.

Belenas - Basin Floor

Dragon Age Inquisition: All Astrarium Locations And Solutions (28)

The Belenas Astrarium is found in the northeast of the Frostback Basin. For reference on a map, it's almost directly south of the Old Temple.

The Belenas constellation represents a mountain of the same name, at the peak of which Korth the Mountain-Father had his throne. Avvar legends tell of how young Avvar would attempt to climb up to him and fail.

Fulmenos - Cliffside Path

Dragon Age Inquisition: All Astrarium Locations And Solutions (29)

The Fulmenos Astrarium can be found directly south of the ruins in the north (which you visit for the quest "On Ameridan's Trail") and quite near the river.

Though it's known that the Fulmenos constellation is supposed to represent lightning being thrown by a God, no one is sure which God is doing the throwing — though, the Tevinters have credited nearly every one of their Old Gods with it, over the years.
