I basically live off of coffee - I LOVE IT! Hot or iced, it doesn't matter. So, a delicious coffee flavored dessert like tiramisu is also right up my alley!

I love a good tiramisu, but between trying to work from home, supervising the kids during distant learning, and trying to keep up with super energetic and curious toddler that we have lovingly nicknamed the Little Tornado, I'm finding less and less time to invest in making my recipes. Especially the type of dessert recipes that are usually reserved for a special occasion, like tiramisu.

But recently I came across this amazing Pampered Chef recipe for tiramisu dip that only takes 6 minutes to whip up!

It's so easy, and SOOOOOO good! Like, where have you been all my life good.

Earlier this year when we were about 3 weeks into the stay at home orders here in California, I was super bored, missing my friends and itching to go shopping. So I threw a Pampered Chef party on Facebook and had so much fun I decided to join as a consultant - plus I scored a great deal on an air fryer from my host rewards. I was planning on keeping the consultant thing very much as a side business, but it's turned out to be much more enjoyable than I was expecting. If you'd like to see what I'm talking about, I invite you to join my Facebook group here.

I think my favorite thing about becoming a Pampered Chef consultant has been trying out a lot of their recipes. Like this hot spinach and artichoke dip - amazing. But it's also been great discovering new ways to save time and effort in the kitchen. Are you like me where 2020 has changed your home life? Even though we're home ALL. THE. TIME. - trying to do all the things while everyone is here constantly means that my family's need are always overlapping.

I thought that this new (and hopefully temporary) way of living was going to give me extra time in the kitchen with lots of time consuming elaborate recipes that I've always wanted to try. At first I imagined that I would be able to get up and make my boys amazing full breakfasts of eggs, bacon, and pancakes, lunches that include carefully styled food art, and four course dinners.

But no. I'm multi-tasking to the extreme so I'm sticking with meals that include 10 minutes or less of hands on prep. Although I do have to say, if it wasn't for the toddler, maybe it would be different. He's totally delightful, but it really does look like a tornado ripped through the room if you turn your back for 2 seconds with him.

Anyway, back to the tiramisu dip. It's a blend of cream cheese, powdered sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, instant coffee, whipped topping (like Cool whip) and vanilla. It's so indulgent and perfect for enjoying when you finally get to relax at the end of the day.

Don't those flavors sound like a wonderful way to satisfy a tiramisu craving? Pampered Chef just released a new double-strength pure vanilla extract that looks pretty interesting. If you're going to be using it, you'd only use half of the vanilla extract that the recipe calls for. I decided to try the recipe with all of the recommended dippers - ladyfingers, pirouettes, and fresh strawberries.

What a treat!
